We are currently seeking a Senior Operations Associate to support the human resources, payroll, and compliance needs of our growing portfolio of clients. Successful candidates will have a keen eye for detail and be highly organized, they will be masters at communicating information both verbally and in writing, they will be resourceful, problem solving, and have a track record of successfully managing their time through prioritization and boundary setting. The candidate must also demonstrate a history of working with confidential information. Job Title: Senior Operations Associate 
Reports to: Operations Manager 

Location: Oakland, CA (remote workers will be considered)

  • Timely client correspondence on a daily basis
  • Proactively identify clients needs and provide guidance
  • Lead HR, payroll, and compliance functions (a few below):
    • create & upon audit, process semi-monthly payrolls for clients
    • audit employee documents for completion, and extract needed data for people systems
    • ensure government reporting is completed timely and accurately
  • Research and advise on best practices
  • Collaborate with others in the development of workflow enhancements (both internal & client facing)
  • Support partners & service providers with their inquiries

  • Expert communicator (verbal & written)
  • Empathic/Compassionate
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Must be a team player and self-motivated
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience in a fast paced environment
  • BS/BA degree preferred=
  • Payroll and benefits experience a plus
  • Foreign language a plus
