At Observatory, we believe that great creativity comes from collaboration and culture. We are looking for a Junior Art Director who is driven to deliver brand ideas that help Observatory and its innovative clients live up to our mission, to advance the nature of brand storytelling.

Candidates must have creative and entrepreneurial drive, a passion for pop culture and entertainment, radical audience empathy, and the storytelling acumen to help build impactful brand ideas. This person should also demonstrate a strong ability and passion to the craft of creative work: getting to the truth of idea, delivering a visual arresting creative product that stops people in their scroll. 

Qualified candidates will be responsible for delivering innovative concepts, visual directions, and content-driven executions that help our clients solve problems by operating in culture. Additionally, candidates should be able to effectively work on multiple clients at a time, and collaborate across disciplines to create impactful work.

Responsibilities:
• Bring brave, purpose-driven, and innovate creative thinking to the table
• Craft stories and build brands through experience and campaign level thinking and execution
• Collaborate with Creative Directors, Art Directors, and Copywriters through the entire creative process
• Collaborate with Brand Agents, Strategists, and Producers to strengthen ideas

Desired Skills:
• 2-3 years in brand storytelling with a strong understanding of creative development, culture and brand strategy
• Or recent graduate of Masters Program in Art Direction or Advertising.

Additional Information:
• Experience working on disruptive marketing at an agency is preferred
 • Ability to balance priorities and work independently, under deadlines in a fast-paced environment
 • Excellent verbal and presentation skills 
 • Ambitious and curious about the content industry.
 • Open to travel as necessary
