Job description
For the Entry-Level Field Marketing position, you will be responsible for building a regional community of like-minded individuals and bringing them together at an identified regular cadence (quarterly/monthly, possibly weekly) for social functions such as happy hours, sporting events, dining sessions with the goal of ultimately generating their interest in our offerings.
This position is half sales superstar and half networking master, all rolled up into one totally confident, go-getting machine. You will act as a brand ambassador for o9’s interests, building strong relationships with businesses and executives. Your day-to-day will revolve around expanding our network of contacts by targeting the "influencers" of each enterprise and generating genuine interest in joining our community.
Responsibilities
- Understand o9’s offerings to the market
- Building target lists
- Create outreach message and contact targets via all means: email, phone, social media, mailers, in person
- Create advertisements using drag-and-drop interface. Post in appropriate places online.
- Build landing pages using Drag-and-Drop.
- Motivate targets to join community
- Manage target list and prospect mailing list through online interface.
- Continue engagement with community members throughout their membership via email outreach.
- Organize small regional gathering with members
Travel: < 10%

The ideal candidate will have the following traits and credentials:
- Four-year college degree
- NYC savvy. You know where all of the classy restaurants are as well as where the business people gather.
- Passion for all things technology related such as artificial intelligence, self-driving cars, augmented reality, etc.
- We need a savvy, chic, classy individual who can communicate with business professionals.
- Consistent track record of success.
- Your friends think that you are fun, friendly, and well-spoken.
- Driven and sales-oriented attitude
- Proactive (self-motivated, ambitious, highly productive)
- Well mannered, polished and poised
- Great communication skills (actor, grammarian, orator, televangelist, and counselor)
- Technology proficient (master of Microsoft Office, user of LinkedIn, awareness of salesforce.com, can use Google sheets and sort a column)
- Positive attitude & eagerness to learn
