Facility Notes: Nursing Home-POSITION SUMMARY--The LPN, under the direction and supervision of a RN, is responsible and accountable for the overall health status of the residents, including| assessment, evaluation, plan of care, monitoring and reporting changes to the physician, RN, and family. The LPN may delegate selected nursing activities to CNA's, but retains accountability and responsibility for the overall nursing care. Supervising staff along with the continuous evaluation of resident care needs and implementation of plan of care by direct care or supervision of the CNA's, Environmental Aides, or Ward Secretary. The LPN assists in the ongoing assessment and data collection of residents assigned to his/her care.--MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS--1.Licenses and Certifications Required--Current or temporary LPN license in ND or compact LPN licensure.--BLS certification required within orientation period.--2.Educational Requirements--LPN program as evidenced by licensure.--3.Experience Requirements--Previous nursing home experience preferred, but not required.--4.Special Skills or Training Requirements--Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
Recent Experience: Must have at least 1 year of recent experience in same or similar department
