Facility Notes: The role of the Registered Nurse is to perform patient care under the direction of the Nurse Manager/Director. The Registered Nurse provides therapeutic and administrative services necessary for the care of the surgical patient, and in support of the mission of Doctors Hospital. The Operating Room Registered Nurse provides care for birth to pediatric, pediatric/child patients between 1 to 11 years of age; adolescent patients between 12 to 17 years of age; adult patients between 18 to 64 years; and geriatric patients 65 years and older.--Operating Room/PACU| Population Served| Core competencies will be assessed primarily on the following patient population(s) served| Pre- and intra-operative interventions, including but not limited to| Burn/Wound, Orthopedic, Spine/Neuro, GS/Vascular, GU, GYN, Thoracic, Robotic, Oral and ENT---Qualifications and Requirements--Education|--A graduate from an accredited school of nursing is required with an ADN or BSN -Licensure/Certifications--An active State of Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) License is required. -A current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is required upon hire.-ACLS and PALS preferred.-Experience/Skills|--Previous experience in the OR required (any skill set) - prefer level I trauma center experience. --SHIFT| Days, Mid-Shift, Rotating Weekends - 7a-7p…3-12’s per week.--Compensation| Salary range from $27- $39 per hour. Sign-on bonus up to $12,500; relocation assistance available for qualified candidates-- Sunday thru Saturday 7p-7a. $5.00, weekends fri, 7pm thru sun, 7a, $10.00. Shift diffs stack on weekend nights.
