Sales Associate - Institutional Assets

About the Company: Our client is a financial services company headquartered in Chicago, Illinois that caters to corporations, institutional investors, and high net worth individuals. 

Summary 
Provides sales support to sales team. Maintains up to date market research of target markets/sectors. Supports the RFP and sales teams to gather accurate information from the business and reviews RFP responses to ensure it is customized to prospects needs. Produces sales reports on a regular and ad hoc basis. 

Major Duties 
1. Maintain up to date market research of target markets / sectors. 

2. Research new markets/sectors of interest to the company. 

3. Research prospect profile and work alongside sales managers on key deals. 

4. Support the RFP and sales teams as required to gather accurate, timely and quality information from the business and reviewing drafts ensuring the RFP is customized to prospects' needs. 

5. Prepare fee models and proposals. 

6. Prepare, support and coordinate all aspects relating to sales presentations and due diligence visits such as presentation booklets, supporting sales material, briefing memos and sessions, agendas, etc. 

7. Maintain sales / prospect database. 

8. Where appropriate, represent NT alongside sales team at certain conferences. 

9. Assist sales team in the preparation and running of certain NT conferences working alongside the events managers. 

10. Produce monthly prospect and sales snapshot reports and quarterly sales insight reports. 

11. Produce regular and ad hoc sales reports as required by senior management. 

12. Analyze prospect data to assist sales team focus on target markets/prospects, differentiators and product gaps.


Qualifications:

Knowledge / Skills 
  • Knowledge of financial products and services and basic sales concepts usually obtained through related work experience or formal education is required to assist with sales process. 
  • Ability to utilize a personal computer is needed to develop sales tools. 
  • Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills are required to interact with clients. 

Experience Required 
Minimum of 3 years of industry or related experience.
