Novelty Media is looking for a driven, enthusiastic and highly-ambitious Senior Yield Analyst!

As our Senior Yield Analyst you will be responsible for analyzing revenue and media performance to find opportunities, potential issues, and guide our strategy. You will dig into the data for our O&O sites as well as client sites. You will become an expert on how users navigate our site, how advertisers buy, and how we grow audiences for ourselves and our clients. You will report to our Director of Revenue and work closely with our executive team to present your findings and implement strategies based on your analyses. In this role you have the potential to help a fast-moving, growing company exceed our goals to improve ad performance and user engagement.

Responsibilities
- Analyze ad performance data and use your findings to implement optimization strategies across our O&O and client websites
- Analyze, monitor and optimize audience development campaigns across Taboola, Outbrain, Facebook, and Yahoo Gemini
- Build reports and dashboards for internal and external use to tell the story behind our complex data
- Use your analyses and present to executives to transform and improve our business model
- Report, collaborate and communicate results to stakeholders on all teams (Content, Media, Revenue)
- Work with Revenue Operations Manager to improve website layout to improve user experience based on variable tests
Requirements
- Proficient with Excel and SQL – mandatory
- Familiar with header bidding, auction mechanics, and publisher monetization and optimization strategies
- Familiar with platforms (Facebook, Outbrain, Taboola)
- Technical & Analytical orientation
- Self-motivated & curious and willing to dig deeper into data for differentiated results
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced, start-up environment
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ideally, have at least 3-5 years of experience in adtech operation and/or business analytics
Education
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, relevant experience
