Songo Media US is looking for an experienced Help Desk Specialist. This is a shared services position supporting various members and groups for our growing media organization.
Day to day duties include: Inventory management, equipment licensing, vendor relations, trouble-shooting, equipment updates, software and equipment purchasing and recommendations, department and individual assistance
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily performance of computer systems and networks
- Order, track all computer and technical assets across Songo US
- Answer user computer software or hardware operation inquiries and/or conduct computer diagnostics for resolution, onsite or by phone
- Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners
- Manage all email, calendar and drive setup, permissions and other requirements
- Continually maintain up-to-date technical knowledge
- Maintain records of daily issues and communications and ensure timely response and resolution
- Work with vendors regarding hardware or software problems or defective products to service repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
- Prepare evaluations of software or hardware, and recommend improvements or upgrades
- Train staff as needed
Requirements
- One year of experience in a technical support role working with hardware and software issues
- Experience with various Windows and Apple OS's, MS Office, Google office suite and other tools
- Experience troubleshooting laptops, monitors, other external devices, desktops, mobile devices, copiers, scanners, printers
- GSuite administration resetting passwords, checking user groups mobile device account troubleshooting, managing DSS processes and procedures
- Working knowledge of a range of diagnostic utilities, including native Windows/OSX tools and system restore, system updates, Migration Assistant, Disk Utility, Time Machine or back up software
