Our specialist engineering and construction teams bring multi-sector innovation and technical skill – from building and highways, to large-scale water networks and treatment plants.
 
A vacancy has arisen for a Site Manager, working within our Clean Water Workstream. Responsible for overseeing all activities on site, you will be ensuring that all Health & Safety is upheld to the highest standards and all associated works are delivered to the expected standards.
 
What you’ll be doing day to day
  • Raising the profile of Health & Safety on site
  • Regularly reviewing the project status, ensuring all options have been considered and evaluated to improve construction performance
  • Promoting Near Miss and Positive Intervention reporting
  • Strong leadership with employees and subcontractors on site
  • Responsible for all Environmental Control
  • Ensuring all project KPI’s and KPM’s are achieved
  • Upload all documentation as and when necessary, inline with business requirements, ensuring that the latest documentation is always available
  • Developing accurate project programmes and working with the site teams on collaborative planning
 
The experience we’re looking for in a candidate
  • SMSTS or Equivalent
  • Experience in managing high value and critical sites
  • Ability to prioritise a varied workload and demonstrate good time management to comply with deadlines
  • A good level of competency of Microsoft packages
  • Self-motivation, passion and a driven ‘can do’ attitude
