Site Supervisor

Our specialist engineering and construction teams bring multi-sector innovation and technical skill – from building and highways, to large-scale water networks and treatment plants.
 
A vacancy has arisen for a Site Supervisor with a Civil Engineering background. Reporting in to the Site Manager and the Project Delivery Team, you will be responsible for managing labour on site and ensuring all works are completed to the highest standards of Health & Safety.
 
What you’ll be doing day to day 
  • Managing the labour coordination on site
  • Responsible for ensuring all health and safety is adhered to
  • Produce safe and efficient sites
  • Producing RAMS and Permits for operatives
  • Promoting Near Miss & Positive Intervention reporting
  • Attending regular CP sessions with Site Management for accurate programme reviews
  • Inputting of weekly returns
  • Ownership of site activities, site-based procurement etc…
  • Ensuring compliance to nmcn procedures, including site safety rules
 
The experience we’re looking for in a candidate 
  • SSSTS or Equivalent
  • Experience in managing labour across multiple sites
  • Ability to prioritise a varied workload and demonstrate good time management to comply with deadlines
  • Able to work in a busy environment under pressure
  • Willingness to travel across different nmcn sites
  • Excellent communication skills (email/phone/face to face)
