This position will be responsible for the collection and processing of all vendor invoices payable by NeuroInternational and related entities. Vendor creation, remitting payments timely, answering inquiries from management and ensuring the invoicing is in compliance with all terms of the contracts are the primary responsibilities of this position.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, preferred AA degree in accounting
- 2-3 years’ experience in similar role
- Must receive and maintain an eligible level 2 background screen, per AHCA guidelines
- Clean driving record with a valid driver’s license and able to operate a motor vehicle safely
- Must meet all state health requirements.
- Must be able to perform duties and responsibilities (essential to job functions) with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must have strong work ethic, be well organized and a self-starter
- Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable
- At least 18 years of age
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Essential Functions:
- Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
- Prioritize invoices according to cash discount potential and payment terms
- Process check requests
- Audit and process credit card bills Match invoices to checks, obtain all signatures for checks and distribute checks accordingly 1099 maintenance
- Respond to all vendor inquiries Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies
- Assist in month end closing
- Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
- Assist with other projects as needed
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and QuickBooks
- Possess strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong problem solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills
- Thorough knowledge of applicable accounts payable/general ledger systems and procedures, financial chart of accounts and corporate procedures
- Ability to interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner
- Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
- Ability to perform mathematical computations such as percentages, fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division quickly and accurately
- Ability to read, write, count, and speak the English language, to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
