We are specifically seeking a full-time BCBA. This person will design behavior-change programs and work with a diverse client base in a fast-paced environment. Experience with adults, TBI, and residential settings is preferred but not required. 


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • A Master’s Degree is required, applied Behavior Analysis is preferred
  • BCBA required
  • Candidates are preferred to have experience in traumatic brain injury, mental health, autism or some combination, and functionally based treatment of individuals with challenging behaviors
  • Candidates must be currently Board Certified or certification eligible within 15 months of hire
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must have an acceptable driving record per the company policy
  • Must pass mandatory drug screenings, as required
  • Excellent communication, writing, and documentation skills
  • Proficient with technology and software used for teaching and data collection
  • Must receive and maintain eligible background screening per NH state guidelines
  • Must meet all state health requirements which require annual renewals
  • Reliable transportation to and from work; Prompt and reliable
  • Ability to always maintain professionalism even in difficult situations
  • Maintain confidentiality and always comply with HIPAA guidelines
  • Ability to read, write, count, and speak the English language, to understand and carry out oral and written instructions
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Conduct individualized Functional Behavior Assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans
  • Collect data on goals and target behaviors to measure and evaluate treatment effectiveness
  • Train staff on the implementation of behavior plans, ABA principles, and effective behavior-change techniques
  • Assist with the design and evaluation of program-wide positive reinforcement contingencies and token economies
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with Clients, families, staff, medical providers, and community officials
  • Experience and willingness to assist in the management of problem behaviors
  • Willing and never afraid to “get your hands dirty.” Having a “can-do” attitude and not expecting anything from your team that you are not willing to do yourself
  • Able to respond to situations quickly and effectively, as needed, and learning from experience while applying knowledge effectively
  • Ongoing monitoring and adjustment of programs to endure efficacy
  • Demonstrates a strong knowledge of behavioral principles and able to apply them to novel situations
