HR Generalist - NH

Open Position: HR Generalist 

Full-Time: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

Location: Concord, NH

 

We are seeking a HR Generalist for a full-time opening working in a fast-paced healthcare industry.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience with NH Healthcare personnel regulations and survey experience, preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in HR Business or HR Management certification (PHR/SPHR+), preferred
  • 3-5 years HR leadership experience, preferred
  • Excellent writing skills and oral communication
  • Evidence of the practice of professionalism & a high level of confidentiality
  • General knowledge of employment law
  • Deep knowledge in HR best practices
  • Excellent computer skills. Must include Microsoft word, Excel, and demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping
  • Superior interpersonal and coaching skills
  • Superior organizational skills 
  • Reliable and prompt
  • Drug Free workplace, Pre-employment and random screenings required
  • Must receive and maintain a satisfactory Level 2 Background screen
  • Excellent driving record
 

DAY-TO-DAY JOB DUTIES:

  • Oversees management of HR office, including employee relations (fielding questions, concerns, and guidance)
  • Assists with interviewing and on-boarding process for new hires including organization of paperwork, ensuring all pre-screening requirements are completed and successful
  • Oversees and is willing to present New Employee Orientation training material as well as quarterly in-service training material
  • Ensures all regulatory compliance for personnel files is maintained and tracked
  • Experience with workers compensation management
  • Assists with the company’s risk management and safety program: Assists with the implementation of the company’s safety program, tracks and posts OSHA related data
  • Provides in-service training, as needed and if required
  • Experience with conducting workplace investigations, a plus
  • Advises managers/supervisors about the steps in progressive discipline
  • Protects the company’s value by keeping information confidential
  • Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by staying updated on existing and new legislation
