Junior Graphic Designer (Contract)

Netsertive’s Graphic Designers support the Client Success, Product, and Marketing teams by producing interactive digital ad units for our partners and their clients. We are seeking candidates with a good working knowledge of design principles and experience designing within a brand’s identity. Candidates should be strong communicators who think creatively, are detail-oriented, and are able to meet deadlines consistently. They should thrive in a collaborative environment and possess strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop ideas and concepts into compelling visual solutions
  • Present visual ideas, design rationale, and detail to team members and cross-functional partners
  • Interpret needs, objectives, and direction from multiple sources to ensure design concepts meet business goals
  • Design and produce digital advertising units, including Interactive Advertising Bureau’s (IAB) standard In-Banner, Rich Media, and In-Stream ad units using the Mixpo platform’s Creative Studio & Google Web Designer
  • Crop, resize, trim videos, and manipulate client assets as needed in the Adobe product suite
  • Create and export standard animations in Adobe Animate or equivalent HTML5 design tool
  • Demonstrate a high level of understanding of digital constraints, best practices, and opportunities while offering creative design solutions
  • Work quickly and efficiently under tight deadlines across multiple projects
  • Work with Campaign Managers, Account Managers, and Account Executives to drive creative project completion

Qualifications:
  • 1+ years graphic or motion design experience
  • 1+ years of experience in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
  • Experience with motion design using Adobe Animate or equivalent HTML5 design tool
  • High level of professionalism and strong time management
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently under tight deadlines
  • Ability to present concept visualization through sketches, drawings, illustrations, and verbal communications
  • Understanding of typography, manipulation of images and design elements
  • Firm knowledge of design processes including advertising and digital design
  • Ability to work collaboratively and be open to creative feedback
  • Portfolio of previous graphic or motion design work
