The Role
The Business Analyst role is focused on analyzing the market, market actors, products & services and other market-facing activities, synthesizing that information and presenting to stakeholders in the organization. The results of that work will drive both strategic and tactical decision making – from customer targeting to product & service design to financial performance of the organization.
The work product of this role is predominantly quantitative in nature, requiring the incumbent to be able to translate a variety of different types of data into cohesive, logical and analytical models and then communicate them. The work product may include budgeting, planning, variance/monitoring, business requirements/user stories, project design, metrics creation and dash-boarding.
Requirements
Note: This role is designed for a recent university graduate, with appropriate requirements
- Relevant coursework to one or more of the role functions above
- Technical acumen in modern productivity applications and platforms (Office products, Slack, Canva, etc.)
- Excellent (and demonstrated) analytical, written and oral communications skills
- Self directed, ability to self manage
- Ability to work full time from June 2019 onwards
- Bachelor’s Degree in any Business, Management, IT or hard science
- Nice to have: relevant work or applied project experience
- Nice to have: programming experience
- Nice to have: relevant academic experience in Banking
