Technology Support Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Technology Support Manager will be responsible for maintaining systems and network infrastructure, software, and improving service levels for our internal and external customers.  They will be a driver of DevOps methodology within the Technology department. 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: (Core Competencies)
  • Weekly and Monthly support team SLAs
  • Frontline desktop support and procurement for the company
  • Management of access control for facilities and company systems
  • Prompt testing of all recommended security patches and deployment
  • Strong ability to lead, communicate, and operate at both a micro and macro level
  • Developing and Managing system and software support team members
  • Assigning and reviewing quarterly goals for team members
  • Focus on DevOps continuous integration & improvement of process and service
  • Converting all legacy applications into our standard SDLC
  • Assisting Software Development teams in adding Environment updates into the SDLC
  • Ensuring that project milestones and goals are met within approved budget
  • Administration of Google Apps for Business
  • Coordinating periodic Network Security Scanning and System Penetration testing
  • Performing periodic Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery tests
  • Support for SOC and HITRUST audit control maintenance and testing
  • Support for Technical aspects of RFPs
  • Periodic Assessments of ROI and appropriateness of converting on prem assets to cloud

Success will be measured by:
  • Meeting or exceeding all SLAs
  • Legacy Applications migrated to and maintained within standard SDLC
  • Goals met with effective navigation of obstacles 
  • Weekly Security reports and recommendations provided to management

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to effectively prioritize projects & tasks and manage delegation of responsibilities to staff as needed

CREDENTIALS & EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's Degree with 5 years Technology Experience
  • Two plus years management or leadership experience
  • 5 years experience with Network, Operating Systems, Server Admin, & Storage
  • Security, Cloud, Support, Server Administration Certifications - preferred
  • Experience implementing DevOps in an organization - preferred
  • Experience with Cloud Architecture and Implementation - preferred


PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work in an office environment; sustained posture in a seated position for prolonged periods of time; use hands to grasp and reach; occasionally stoop or kneel; see, hear and speak with sufficient acuity to successfully perform all aspects of the job; use telephone and write or use a keyboard to communicate through written means; lift up to fifteen pounds of weight.
