As we expand our staff, research and manufacturing facilities, we are seeking an exceptional self-driven professional to manage and advise on trade compliance and other regulatory compliance matters. This individual will report to the Chief Business Affairs & Legal Officer and work across teams to develop and manage a robust compliance program. 
 
Responsibilities
 
  • Coordinate efforts across the business to identify and address the company’s compliance needs
  • Manage all the necessary licenses to support the business, including export licenses, FCC licenses, and NOAA licenses
  • Develop and manage practical regulatory compliance programs to enable efficient cross-functional business execution, including maintenance and renewal of licenses, administration of internal and external policies, administration of audits and reviews, training of company personnel and business partners, management of recordkeeping
  • Engage with regulators and industry trade associations to promote the Momentus brand
 
Qualifications
 
  • A minimum of a BA/BS degree. Advanced degrees considered (title  will be commensurate with experience)
  • Experience with export control laws and regulations, strong knowledge of ITAR and EAR regulations
  • Experience with, or eagerness to learn, FCC and NOAA licensing
  • Experience with Space industry preferred
  • Ability to effectively coordinate simultaneous activities, and successfully prioritize multiple tasks with good judgment
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to interface with personnel at all levels, both verbally and in writing
