As a game programmer at Mojiworks you’ll develop games that pioneer how millions of people play together. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Contribute to all areas of game development including gameplay, UI, graphics, and cloud backend
- Full stack game development using web technologies such as TypeScript, and Node.JS
- Collaborate with the core game team to define the game design whilst autonomously meeting targets and deadlines
REQUIREMENTS
- Demonstrable experience of game programming consumate to your experience level
- Confidence to give and take constructive feedback
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly iterative and collaborative environment with an emphasis on lean teams, helping each other, and shared responsibility
PLUSES
- Broad understanding of web technologies such as Javascript, TypeScript, HTML5
- Full-stack development experience
- Understanding of mid-level programming environments, such as C++
- Experience of:
- Prototyping new games, such as in game jams
- Shipping products to real users
- Free-to-play mobile game development and live operations
- Mobile development platforms such as iOS, Android, and HTML5

THE ROLE
You’ll be responsible for creating game systems and features, and play a key part in deciding what our games should be. You’ll work on the entire lifecycle of projects, from prototyping to live operations on games with millions of players. Teams are 2-10 people in size so you’ll have plenty of responsibility and authority over the game you help to create.
