Nursing Home Administrator

    Duties and responsibilities:
    • Supervise administrative and clinical affairs of the nursing home and skilled nurse facility.
    • Oversee personnel and staff, medical care, financial matters, medical equipment, facilities, and other related duties.
    • Manage and monitor a wide range of operations in a nursing home, including food service, personnel, marketing operations, and building maintenance. 
    • Accountable in the finances and billing of the nursing home.
    • Responsible on the daily running of the skilled nurse facility. 
    • Ensure the wellbeing and good health of each resident. 
    • Ensure compliance of the State’s requirements in healthcare.
    • Responsible in hiring, promoting, firing and salary increases of employees.
    • Oversee the overall employees and staff in the facility.
    • Develop the facility’s budget and approve the general capital expenses as well as appropriate planning for the institution's progress.

    Requirements:
    • NHA License as required by state law.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Nursing Home Administration or related field.
    • At least 2 years’ prior experience as Administrator in a nursing home or skilled nursing facility.
    • Possess good verbal and written skills in communication.
    • Good leadership skills.
    • Business experience and working knowledge on planning, budgeting, and finance.
