The ModusBox Operations team is a high energy, fun group that is focused on creating a category winning company to work for and with. The only way we can accomplish this is to develop our back office team and processes. This is how we can best support our internal and external teams.
We are searching for an innovative, scrappy, and passionate IT Operations Specialist, who is ready to meet our growth goals and help define what IT is at ModusBox. This person will be a key strategic partner in our efforts to operationalize and scale our business.
Responsibilities
- Oversee our endpoints (Mac, Windows, Mobile).
- Point of escalation for Help Desk.
- Maintain and evolve current applications and systems (Google Apps, JIRA/Confluence, Slack, etc).
- Build provisioning/de-provisioning workflows (User accounts, group membership, service access, etc.).
- Super Admin for many of our internal platforms and systems.
- Own and manage internal application integration strategy
- Own file/data management strategy
- Responsible for IT security practices (implementing password best practices, SSO, etc.)

You Have:
- 2-4 years of relevant technical experience, including software evaluation, systems upgrades, overall technical project management, application integration support, and HelpDesk management.
- Bachelor’s degree required, or, at least 2 years of equivalent work experience required.
- An understanding of documenting and creating IT operational processes.
- The people skills required to build relationships with a diverse global workforce that includes groups like developers and managers.
- Experienced. Provide insights, best practices and bring with you actionable items on day one.
- Previously worked in a fast-paced customer-facing environment, preferably within a global technical organization.
- Strong application experience with systems like Salesforce, Mavenlink, Rippling, etc.
- Deep understanding of networking, subnets, routing, VLANS, and wireless networks
You might also have:
- A motivation to learn and constantly improve processes and tools.
- Understanding of Agile development processes
- Interest and experience in integration programming (experience with tools like Mule ESB, Tibco, WSO2, Camel, etc.)
- Experience with automation and scripting for endpoints and configuration management.
- A passion to solve ambiguous problems.
- Expert time and task management skills.
