We are looking for L2 Support Engineers who wants to help us build the first of its kind open-source software for financial services companies, government regulators and others taking on the challenges of interoperability and financial inclusion. Recognized leaders in the development of Mojaloop.io, software for developers to connect digital financial providers and customers in an open inclusive loop, you’ll get the chance to work on something unique.

You will be part of a team that is responsible for uptime, availability, performance and security of multiple environments; providing 99.9% availability. You will maintain and support application software and tools for all environments and proactively ensure that SLA targets are met.  
 
Your Responsibilities:
 
  • Address application-related incidents escalated from Level 1 or assigned by Level 3
  • Bug management: Bug/Query analysis, bug fixing, regression test
  • Test lab and simulation
  • Change management to ensure application and infrastructure stability after deployment
  • Training the L1 support team and developing a knowledge base of solutions
  • Validate and contribute to product documentation
  • Technical support 8 hours/5 days a week, with scheduled out of hours support. May be required on call for level 2 escalations

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Knowledge of a modern programming language
  • Ability to review CI/CD automation processes using tools like : Helm, Jenkins, Bamboo, CircleCI, JFrog
  • Some experience with API deployment
  • Monitoring: any of ELK, EFK, Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor
  • Working knowledge of Linux, MySQL and familiarity with apache kafka
  • Incident management to meet SLAs.
  • Good knowledge of cloud-based systems.
