Role Summary:
Miovision is looking for a creative, engaging individual who is driven to find and bring in the best talent. As an ideal candidate, you have several years' recruiting experience, including experience recruiting technical professionals. You have a passion for sourcing and connecting with top talent and are comfortable communicating with candidates at all levels (new graduate to director). You've got strong ATS and computer skills, and thrive in a fast-paced and complex environment.
In this role you will report directly into the Senior Director of Talent Acquisition and work with a progressive and innovative team. The ideal candidate must be ‘hands on’ with strong communication skills while being able to juggle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
What you’ll do:
- Manage all aspects of the recruitment process to understand business requirements, develop and execute sourcing strategies and overseeing candidate selection and management
- Identify new avenues for sourcing candidates, ensure accurate and continuous update of the recruitment database of job postings and candidate status
- Conduct resume reviews, interviewing, managing group and in person interviews, arranging interviews with hiring managers, assist hiring managers in final selection and provide feedback to unsuccessful candidates
- Coach hiring managers regarding recruitment best practices, provide status updates to internal clients, manage inquiries and requests from multiple business partners
- Conduct regular follow-ups with hiring managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans
- Assist in developing and executing social media strategies for talent acquisition.
- Build tools and create collateral to inform hiring managers and employees in the areas of effective hiring, recruiter management, candidate review, candidate interviewing, etc.
- Identify new networking activities such as attending career events, professional association meetings, and schools
- Collaborate with all employees to develop business knowledge and referrals
- Assist in the development and maintenance of Miovision’s brand
What you have:
- 6-8 years of technical and behavioral recruitment experience
- Bachelor degree
- Demonstrated understanding of software development terminology and process
- Experience in multi-tasking and responding in a fast-paced environment with high volume of recruitment activities
- Experience with international recruitment would be an asset
- Ability to build and maintain relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
