Director of Marketing

Role Summary: 
Reporting to the VP of Revenue Operations, the Director of Marketing is responsible for establishing & implementing strategic and tactical plans designed to capitalize on market opportunities and generate demand. This role is public facing both to our customers/partners as well as industry colleagues- the Director must be competent at delivering keynote speeches, product demonstrations and sitting on industry councils. Our Director of Marketing will build a creative, integrated, multi-channel marketing department that enables Miovision to deliver on our annual revenue commitments, provides a steady flow of sales leads, and measures the return on marketing program investments. 

What you’ll do:
  • Create and execute Global Marketing Programs including but not limited to demand generation, events, digital/web, market education/thought leadership, channel marketing, content development and delivery
  • Represent Miovision at key industry events and participate within industry councils
  • Lead and empower a high performing team through clear visions/expectations, regular performance and improvement feedback, and keeping on top of emerging topics and trends in the industry
  • Manage marketing budget for resources and capital purchases
  • Work directly with sales and channel partners to support marketing efforts and direct their use of Market Development Funds
  • Accountable for delivering high quality and high quantity of marketing programs
  • Drives speed and innovation through the marketing teams
  • Creates a high energy “always on” team which is flexible enough to pulse with the business demands of the day
  • Collaborates on the development and execution of programs which influence the Miovision brand in market
  • Oversees the design and creation of new product branding, collateral templates, PowerPoint templates and overall brand visuals
  • Collaborates with Director of Product Marketing on market segmentation, targeting & positioning for each product line as well as market strategies for new products, segments, and territories

What you have:
  • 10+ years in a variety of high performing marketing roles
  • Formal education in business or marketing
  • Fluency in general business, marketing, and creative concepts and workflows with a talent for communicating these to a wide variety of audiences
  • Excellent presentation skills and story-telling ability
  • Adaptable to change and ability to bring both big and small ideas to life, quickly through ideation and collaboration that advance brand & business objectives
  • Outstanding communicative, organizational and written skills 
  • Strong experience with different marketing specialties, including channel, program, digital, content, SEO, etc.
  • Experience leading teams and/or ability to coach and develop inside the Marketing team
  • A continuous learner who is able to discover, evaluate and implement new marketing technologies
  • Expert in marketing automation technologies such as Pardot and Salesforce

Additional Assets:
  • Prior experience leading a technology marketing organization
  • Prior experience working on the agency side of marketing
  • Active involvement in community and industry organizations related to marketing and or Miovision
