Technical Customer Support Specialist

In Cologne, our Miovision international and multicultural team, is responsible for managing more than 12 European countries.We work both together and independently to provide our customers with a world-class high level customer experience. 
 
We are looking for a motivated, professional, and innovative colleague that combines an extensive knowledge of web technologies with strong customer orientation. 
 
 As a Customer Support Specialist, you are responsible for:
  • resolving technical customer questions in regards to Miovision’s video recording hardware and web based  platforms over email, telephone, and chat;
  • work together with various teams, including but not limited to finance/manufacturing/logistics/data services/product, in Europe and in Canada to resolve customer support cases;
  • escalate bug issues and be an advocate for our customer base internally;
  • localize and develop technical and training resources;
  • play an active collaborative role in improving the customer experience as they progress through the customer journey
 
You are the right candidate if:
  • You successfully completed studies or vocational education in media/computer science or similar (e.g. IT specialist)
  • You have 3+ years of professional experience in customer service, preferably in a technology field
  • You are a native German speaker, you are fluent in English and have a good command of French. Command of other languages is a plus ( Italian, Spanish)
  • You have the ability to adapt quickly to changing information and follow processes
  • You are passionate to get to the bottom of technical problems and solve them together with the customer
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication and you approach people in a positive way
  • You have developed the above applicable skills through a combination of technically based education (e.g computer science) and/or experience in a technical support role (2-3 years)
 
Additional Assets: 
  • You have knowledge of the traffic industry
  • You have Tier 1 IT and networking support experience
  • You have a good familiarity of other languages like French, Italian & Spanish
