About the position:
The IT Support Technician will support the IT Manager in maintaining a proficient information technology workflow for all employees at MINT dentistry. The IT Support Technician will monitoring and maintaining the computer systems and networks as well as supporting with installation and troubleshooting. This position requires a moderate to advanced knowledge of Google Sheets functions to help maintain company-wide data.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver service and support to end-users using and operating help desk email and future help desk ticketing solution;
- Interact with employees to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns, and requests about software, processes, and services;
- Maintain databases and Google Sheets spreadsheets;
- Strong experience with Google Sheets/Excel formulas;
- Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues involving internet connectivity, email clients, IPTV, VOIP and more;
- Help in the process of troubleshooting systems, workstations;
- On-boarding of workstations for employees;
- Help and Support IT & Data Director in company-wide projects;
- Basic network troubleshooting;
- Ease of familiarity with new software;
- Stay current with system information, changes and updates;
- Redirect problems to appropriate resource;
- Accurately process and record support tickets using a computer and designated tracking software;
- Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques;
- Identify and escalate priority issues per Client specifications;
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Moderate to Advance knowledge of Google Sheets/Microsoft Excel;
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science or relevant field;
- Minimum 2 years experience in Technical Support or Help Desk setting;
- Knowledge of relevant software computer applications and equipment;
- Basic Knowledge of Windows Server, Windows OS, Cloud based server;
- Basic knowledge of network environments;
