At Mindoula Health we are transforming the practice of psychiatry by combining the systems-based and holistic framework of our clinical practice with our innovative telehealth platform and case management team. We design, implement and manage psychiatry services in a variety of treatment settings for a range of populations requiring psychiatric care.
In our outpatient innovation lab in Lexington Park, MD we:
- Test and refine new approaches to outpatient psychiatry while providing priority appointments to individuals and families under most health insurance plans
- At all times, in all that we do, we remain in service to our patients and clients, which is why we call what we do The Service of Psychiatry
- Alternative treatment paradigms encouraged and supported

Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Provide initial evaluations with varying levels of complexity and follow up medication management visits for a total of 32 clinical hours per week:
- 40-60 minutes for initial evaluations
- 15-20 minutes per med management follow-up appointments
- Target of 4 initial evaluations per 8-hour clinical day
- Complete and maintain clinical notes and medical records in EMR in a timely manner upon completion of services
- Submit Charges to billing within 24 hours
- Be available for conflict resolution between staff and patients as well as to assist with any patient complaints
- Conducts as reasonably requested, remote behavioral educational programs for patients, staff, mental health professionals and/or community
- May also provide direct supervision of allied health professionals and bill services “incident to” under own NPI
Requirements:
- Maryland state licensure with active DEA license
- Board-certified
- Willingness to become licensed in Virginia, Washington, DC, or other geographies covered by our Collaborative Care Program and Telepsychiatry services
