MikMak is looking for a Content Marketing Specialist / B2B Copywriter who is passionate about what they do and excited about joining a rapidly growing SaaS startup. This position will own the content that MikMak develops across a wide range of channels - internal blogs, sales materials, case studies, whitepapers and more. This position will be based in our New York office.
Responsibilities
- Write, edit and proofread compelling materials to support MikMak’s business development efforts - decks, one pagers, articles, whitepapers, case studies, email templates. Work closely with BD, Customer Success and Product to ensure that content is compelling and accurate.
- Develop and maintain persuasive original content for a variety of B2B marketing channels, including blog, website, email, events, social media, video, and podcast
- Collaborate with internal subject matter experts in delivery and sales to ghostwrite, edit, and proofread thought leadership content such as blogs, white papers, case studies, press releases, and articles. Keep content updated as MikMak continues to innovate and surface new success stories.
- Manage content calendar and proactively uncover new opportunities for content creation and distribution which align with overall business and marketing objectives
- Maintain on-going communication with all relevant stakeholders regarding the status of active projects and provide feedback/metrics for completed projects
- Develop a thorough understanding of our target audience and buyer profiles as well as effective engagement strategies at each stage of the sales cycle
- Stay up-to-date with digital media, eCommerce and B2B marketing trends and innovations and effectively incorporate them into messaging and marketing plans
Who you are
- 3 to 5 years of writing or content marketing experience with a demonstrated track record of success
- Previous experience working in an B2B environment, preferably software/SaaS, with portfolio that includes content on social media, ad tech, CPG, eCommerce
- Passion for eCommerce and digital media
- Content marketing mindset that is focused on customer engagement and conversions
- Keynote / graphic design skills are a plus, but not a requirement
- NYC based or ready to relocate to the best city on Earth
