Mike Kelly Toyota is looking for a service porter to join our team. This position is responsible for a variety of important tasks primarily related to taking care of our service customers as they arrive at our dealership. It will include greeting customers, tagging their cars and keeping them moving through the line, directing them to a service advisor for write-up and maintaining the cleanliness of the customer's vehicle. It involves moving the customers' cars to designated parking areas in the dealership or technician service bays.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review and monitor service appointment schedule to know which guests to expect at what times
- Greet guests immediately when entering the service dept. Ensure prompt and courteous service
- Perform courtesy alignment checks, battery checks, wiper blade checks, etc.
- Direct service drive support staff to keep traffic flowing smoothly
- Move vehicles as needed
- Ensure service support staff maintains clean service drive area
- Alert service advsiors of any special guest needs
- Perform any other related duties as assigned.
Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screen. Have a clean driving record.
