Social Media Marketing Account Executive

MGH, a full-service marketing communications agency recognized as one of Ad Age’s 2019 and 2020 Best Places to Work, is conducting informational interviews for a Social Media Marketing Account Executive position.
 
What You’ll Do:
 
  • Develop, oversee, and implement strategy on multiple client accounts
  • Maintain close and positive relationships with clients
  • Assist with new business outreach through research, brainstorming, strategy development, pitching and on-boarding
  • Create timely and engaging content for client social media profiles
  • Coordinate development of graphics, online tools, websites, etc. with creative and interactive teams
  • Manage online communities, including posting, monitoring and response
  • Create and manage social media-based advertising campaigns
  • Occasional off-hours management of client accounts
  • Report on campaign results
  • Ensure integration with other agency teams, including account service, PR, creative, media, and interactive
  • Stay current with marketing and client industry trends and tools
  • Oversee department employees and potentially serve as a mentor to junior level employees
 
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Experience:
 
  • 1-3+ years managing paid and unpaid social media efforts
  • Understanding of social, digital advertising, website, business metrics 
  • Experience with content development
  • Experience with ad campaign planning, set-up, management, analysis, and reporting
  • Ability to work well with others 
  • Adaptable, flexible
