Sr. iOS Developer

We are looking for an iOS developer for the development and maintenance of iPhone/iPad/iWatch/iPod Touch products. Your primary focus will be development of iOS applications and their integration with our back-end services.

Based in sunny Lisbon, you will be working within an exceptional engineering team working on different layers of the infrastructure. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products is essential.

Responsibilities
  • Design and build applications for the iOS platform
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
  • Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

Skills
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
  • Have launched at least two public iOS applications or open source projects
  • Proficient with Swift. Objective-C is a plus
  • Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc.
  • Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
  • Solid understanding of secure application design principles
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services
  • Understanding of iOS’s design principles and interface guidelines
  • Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools
  • Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
  • Knack for benchmarking and optimization
  • Proficient understanding of Git
  • Familiarity with continuous integration
  • Dependency Injection and IoC
  • Advanced network and storage systems concepts
  • Instruments profiling
  • Testing
  • Bonus for:
    • Knowledge of UX, UI and Accessibility
    •  Worked PCI-DSS environments
