Senior Integration Engineer

What you will do:

This role will focus on integration delivery, driving innovation and best practices, and understanding the business system's data requirements.  As an Integration Architect, you will provide leadership across our team to establish API-standards while maintaining high availability for the services we manage, while also implementing the infrastructure solutions that our product teams need in order to succeed.

The following are key functions to this role:
 
Develop and support MuleSoft integrations.
Build enterprise-level integrations with a focus of performance, scalability, and security.
Configuration and environment management within Mulesoft's Anypoint Platform.
Own a portfolio of key applications/systems and work with the organization to ensure these systems support business processes and growth.
Provide code and technical design review for teammates, and respond thoughtfully to reviews of your solutions.
Communicate and collaborate with scrum teams to deliver project implementations.

What We're Looking For
Across our team, we are looking for a mixture of skills - above all, we are looking for hungry, humble and smart team members and will consider applicants with any combination of the skills. 

  • Integration implementation with experience ideally with Mulesoft or similar integration tools.
  • Experience with systems and data integration.
  • Passion for building scalable and reliable systems.
  • Functional knowledge of Salesforce.com data structure and technical depth to deliver on designs, test scripts, and high-performance solutions.
  • Experience with integrations between various systems to determine integration data requirements.
  • Familiarity with source control and release management and experience using source control tools (eg. Git, CircleCI, Jenkins).
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and iterative software development.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and architecting for multiple technical integration project SDLCs (Software Development Life Cycle) end-to-end, sometimes simultaneously
  • Working knowledge of cloud-based infrastructures, SDLC pipelines, and deployments/configurations and definition/evangelism of best practices/standards
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively architect solutions within a diverse technical team of client, SIs, contractors, and internal teams
  • Demonstrated experience with High-Availability, Fault-Tolerance, Performance Testing and Tuning parameters 
  • Demonstrated expertise in architecting, implementing, and supporting enterprise-grade technical solutions meeting complex business requirements while evangelizing integration methodologies 
  • Experience in completing technical design documentation and technical reference materials for client/internal consumption

Bonus Attributes

  • Experience with Salesforce APIs is preferred.
  • Experience with Python and Java a plus.
  • Mule Developer certifications a plus.
  • Knowledge of open source projects and/or past contributions
