Community Care Connections Pittsburg is looking for a Program Supervisor with the primary responsibility to direct and coordinate the overall operation of the satellite agency in a professional manner that provides quality services with dignity, provides fair treatment of employees, produces a positive cash flow and maintains an ongoing liaison among the professional personnel and support staff.
Community Care Connections is a member of the Medicalodges, Inc. family. Medicalodges offers a continuum of health care options which include in-home services, independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing home care, rehabilitation, specialized care, outpatient therapies, adult day care, as well as services and living assistance to those with developmental disabilities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Establishing, directing, monitoring and coordinating the overall operation of the satellite agency in the areas of home and community based services.
- Supervising the hiring, training and evaluation of all personnel in all departments. The Service Coordinator is accountable to assure that proper hiring, employment procedures and documentation requirements are followed; required licenses and/or certifications are current and education for all Agency personnel is conducted on a continuous basis. They are responsible for exercising due diligence in determining that persons hired are of the highest professional quality.
- Addressing all deficiencies. Must resolve all issues to be in compliance and hold the appropriate staff accountable for the correction and non‑repetition of errors or deficiencies.
- Constantly striving to enhance revenues by networking with the Agency service area to determine special needs which the Agency can provide.
- Conducting meetings with staff to review (and make the necessary modifications in regard to) problems in need of correction and any other conditions which would affect the Agency’s being in compliance at all times.
- Preparing and submitting all reports required by state and federal agencies in an accurate and timely manner.
- Assuring that all admissions are correctly handled with proper documentation for full payment for services provided and assuring that all requirements are met to ensure full and prompt reimbursement including, but not limited to, Medicaid (HCBS waiver funds) and/or private pay.
- Assuring that appropriate personnel and backup personnel are available, or are in training, for all positions in the Agency.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma.
- Minimally one year of supervisory or administrative experience in the HCBS field or an appropriately qualified profession.
- On call 24 hours a day, if required.
- Ability to organize the operation of the Agency effectively.
- Must have leadership qualities.
