Solutions Architect - EMEA

Mediafly is looking for a talented Solutions Architect (Presales) to join our growing team. This person will report to the EVP, Global Alliances & International Sales. The Solutions Architect is a key role in supporting the sale of Mediafly solutions and services. Working closely with the International Sales team, the SA will help discover and understand our prospective clients' business needs, requirements, and objectives. Then, working with the sales teams, and other appropriate functional groups or partners, craft and document the solution footprint including the use of "extensions" if needed. Configure or oversee the configuration of a demonstration environment that addresses the key business requirements and objectives. Deliver the tailored demonstration and provide any follow-up action/activities required.  

Responsibilities

  • This person will support the sale of Mediafly products and services by:
  • Assisting in the prospect qualification process through proper discovery and needs analysis.
  • Architecting the appropriate solution based on the needs analysis findings. The solution could be the base Mediafly platform, extensions to the platform and/or partner solutions and services.
  • Configuring and delivering compelling solution presentations and demonstrations, focused on the prospect's needs, highlighting our differentiation and expected business value proposition.
  • Assisting in the preparation of the responses to accepted RFI's and RFP's.
  • Coordinating the handoff to Customer Success for all closed/won opportunities to help ensure a smooth transition.
  • Work with partners to architect an overall solution that fits the customers' needs

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in a Technology discipline or Business with a minor in technology.
  • 5 - 7 years of progressive experience in the tech sales or technology field.
  • Preference for experience with sales methodologies that focus on discovery and needs analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
  • Comfortable meeting with and presenting to mid to senior level executives.
  • Ability to travel across EMEA territory to meet with prospects & clients
  • English and German language proficiency required
