Digital Programmer

Medable is looking for a Digital Programmer.

  • Configure Medable's out-of-the-box platform to fit a customer's study specific requirements
  • In-depth knowledge of Medable's software, technology, and processes to be able to configure Medable's platform to meet customers needs
  • Explain complex technical topics in an easy to understand way to non-technical audience
  • Document and version control documents to accurately reflect system configuration
  • Establish and manage project timelines and objectives
  • Effectively work on teams to ensure projects are completed on time
  • Collaborate with product team to scope additional product features and product roadmap
  • Develop supporting documentation to streamline software design and configuration
  • Communicate effectively within a multi-disciplinary project team to complete assigned tasks on time and within budget


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 2+ years experience working in Client Management or Software implementations or equivalent education and experience
  • 1+ year experience in digital clinical trial design, build, or project management 


  • Knowledge of typical clinical trial workflows
  • Detail-oriented and results-driven
  • Adept at solving complicated technical problems and conversing with clients
  • Excellent troubleshooting and creative problem solving skills
  • Ability to clearly document and track progress across many competing priorities
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively organize and manage multiple assignments with challenging timelines
  • Ability to adapt and adjust to changing priorities
  • Positive attitude and the ability to work well with others
  • Demonstrated initiative and motivation
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
  • Effective at working with teams
  • Software experience (preferred)
  • Technical Knowledge (preferred)
