The Mariners Kids Early Childhood Director will:
- Own and represent the vision and values of the Kids Ministry team and Mariners Church.
- Oversee execution of vision for Early Childhood weekend programming and special events in Kids Ministry.
- Champion cohesion, safety, and efficiency in all areas working with the Children’s Pastor to create training and programming rhythms that support the overall church strategy
- Partner with Family Ministry to create and implement programs to support all parents and families
- Coach and influence Mariners Kids team by highlighting opportunities for collaboration and partnership
- Responsible for recruiting, scheduling and developing a team of volunteers within the Early Childhood area to support weekend programming.
- Oversee volunteer development as a whole for Early Childhood volunteers
- Lead, develop and teach milestone and spiritual development classes
- Provide oversight of an area of programming for VBS and kids special events
- Provide ongoing assessment of ministry to best reach the community and meet the needs of the families attending
- Provide on-going assessments of ministry programming
- Work with Mariners Kids leadership team to maximize the department database to generate reports and material to assist in the tracking of and communication with children.
- Execute administrative tasks – Phone, email, social media, ministry platform

- Coaching, developing and giving active feedback to both staff and volunteers
