There are several Administrative Assistant roles available within our organization. If you are interested in serving ministries through project management, background logistics support as well as some traditional assistant duties, while acting as an extension of the Pastor that you are supporting, one of these roles may be for you.
The Administrative Assistant will:
- Manage ongoing projects and dashboards to track the progress of such projects for the department
- Be the first point of contact for those calling or emailing the ministry and provide assistance and resources in a timely manner
- Maintain the Pastor's schedule including meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel as needed
- Be familiar with and utilize Google drive, docs, sheets, and slides and be ready to support projects as needed
- Manage day to day office operations for the ministry
- Make arrangements for meetings-including room reservations, phone calls, meeting requests emails, catering, IT, etc
- Support the administrative needs of the overall ministry
- Stay informed: EMS calendar, all church calendar, ministry calendar, etc.
- Understand and utilize internal systems, e.g. all church Ministry Platform database, forms, record keeping, budgets, and other pertinent processes
- Process expenditures including contractor payments, check requests, reimbursements, and credit card reconciliation
- Be available to work a 40-hour office week, Monday-Friday from 8:30 am-5: 30 pm, and be available for special events on occasional weekends or evenings
