We are looking for experienced, high volume professional line & prep cooks to work at Mariners Food Services. The Global Café serves breakfast and lunch and prepares scratch cooking for large catered events on campus through our catering department. The main focus of this role is to assist, through teamwork, in the preparation & execution of all menu items to the specifications established by our executive chef, with special focus on cleanliness, food safety & contribution to overall customer satisfaction
Key Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed guest and team member expectations by providing excellent service through teamwork
- Report to work on time, dressed appropriately
- Hands on preparation of all Cook line items
- Maintain stock on all items used on Line; notify Supervisor daily of items needed
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and other assigned areas
- Ensure that all food products are labeled, dated and put away after closing. These practices must be in compliance with all Church and Health Department regulations.
- Stock inventory appropriately
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Other Requirements
- Proven Experience in Full Service, High Volume Restaurants Required
- Professional attitude and good hygiene are essential
- Required to have Open Availability (Including Weekends)
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and work well with a team
- Flexibility and dependability
