Property Management Coordinator

As the Property Management Coordinator, you are part of a new season of growth as Mariners Church writes the next chapter with a new Senior Pastor and aggressive plan to launch new campuses.  You will insure that property management and improvement projects critical to this new season of ministry are completed on time and under budget. In this newly created role, you can blend your project coordination skills with your passion for ministry.

You will be responsible for assisting with the planning, directing and coordinating of capital projects for all of the Mariners Church Campuses and future church plants.  Project will range from $5,000-$500,000, including remodeling, campus improvements, parking, lighting, signage and more. Your days will be varied as you communicate and coordinate with various stakeholders including architects, consultants, contractors & executive team members. 

Here’s more of what you will do:
  • Oversee and maintain project plans ensuring milestones and budgets are met and expenses approved
  • Develop Request for Proposals and manage the responses
  • Participate in bid review, partner selection, contract review, scheduling and coordination of projects
  • Facilitating permitting and inspection processes with relevant city, state and local agencies
  • Collaboration with capital expenditure executive team and ministry departments ensuring accurate and timely flow of information
  • Recruit a volunteer team from the Mariners community to assist with projects

Background Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2+ years in project coordination or other relevant experience
  • Construction industry experience preferred
  • Adept with technology including Office suite, Google Suite and project management software such as Asana
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external partners

Relationships:
  • Reports to the Campus Experience Director
  • Strong Collaborative role to COO, CFO, Project Executive, & CAPEX Advisory committee
