As a member of the Mariners Kids team, you will coordinate, plan and implement stage sets in all large group spaces to integrate with monthly curriculum and programming.
The Creative Coordinator will:
- Recruit, train and develop volunteer teams and leaders to own their roles
- Continually assess and improve the quality of creative elements within the curriculum
- Track monthly expenses and budget for creative programming
- Coordinate creative elements for Children’s Worship Center weekends, such as Serve Recruitment, Christmas Choir, and Palm Sunday
- Manage communication projects, including design, and act as the liaison between the Children’s team and Communications team.
- Manage all social media and communication pieces for Children’s Ministry to ensure updated pieces and cohesiveness of storytelling and branding
- Execute communication and design for VBS programming
- Be a part of the weekend experience for elementary aged children
- Maintain volunteer/leader information in the church database: Ministry Platform
- Participate in VBS lead team, Rooted, and all-staff requirements
The Creative Coordinator will be:

- Experienced in staging/set design
- Loves kids and feels comfortable with lots of joyful noise and fun activity
