Sales Development Representative

Mariana Tek is seeking a Sales Development Representative to help us scale our client base.  Reporting to the VP of Business Development, you'll be integral in selling our product to significantly more boutique fitness clients domestically and, potentially, internationally. In this revenue generating role, you’ll own the entire sales process from lead generation through contract close. Although some leads may be provided, you’ll be responsible for generating your own leads to maintain a healthy pipeline of high value clients.

What You'll Do
  • Close new business consistently at or above quota level
  • Follow up on highly qualified inbound leads at multi-studio fitness companies
  • Work closely with the marketing team to execute a highly effective inbound marketing
  • Seek out new clients through networking, relationship building and marketing efforts
  • Build relationships with prospects and internal stakeholders to grow new business
  • Work collaboratively with marketing and technology departments to execute sales strategy as the company releases new features and enhancements 
  • Serve as a brand enthusiast for Mariana Tek’s suite of products
  • Develop and deliver tailored sales presentations that speak to Mariana Tek’s ability to fuel clent growth
  • Accurately complete monthly and quarterly business and forecasting activities
  • Bring your thinking, strategies, and ideas to advance our company’s values, unique culture, and vision for the future

Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of inside sales experience (in a closing role) in a fast-paced sales environment within a sales team that meets or exceeds their goals consistently
  • Proven track record of success and over-achievement of your individual quotas
  • Experience selling complex software
  • Solution selling experience, especially in terms of understanding the clients’ needs and articulating strategies to use the Mariana Tek platform to meet those needs
  • Strong prospecting abilities and track record of independently building net new business
  • Well-versed in Salesforce or other similar CRM systems
  • Experienced in performing online product demonstrations via screen share
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and “do what it takes” startup culture
