RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the development of a media plan and its implementation.
- Assist in the conceptualization and development of various media materials – radio, print, web, video, social media and others.
- Gather information/data from external or internal resources to fulfill writing tasks.
- Ensure that the communication materials are proofread a) check for spelling, grammatical or typographical errors b) all elements are true and factual.
- Analyze the performance of channels, campaigns, and programs on a weekly and monthly basis
- Support sales in the preparation and delivery of presentations and business proposals.
- Coordinate with agencies, publications, printers and suppliers necessary in the implementation of projects
- Assists in the execution of digital marketing initiatives within the Manitoulin Group of Companies – website development, social media, SEO and SEM.
- Manage online customer reviews & update testimonials.
- Assist Sales in responding to RFP's, tenders and questionnaires.
- Create a library of information needed by sales coordinators to answer RFP's and tenders.
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
- Degree in Communications or Business
- SEO, PPC, Social Media, Public Relations, Marketing or Communications experience, an asset
- Strong writing skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet short deadlines.
- Strong judgment, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
- Dependable, reliable, self-motivated and goal-oriented
- Flexible and able to work with individuals of all levels toward team goals.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
- Strong computer proficiency (demonstrated experience in PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
