(PT / ON Call) EVENT MANAGER/FACILITY MANAGER - Midtown San Francisco Venue - Job Description

  • In this role the Event Manager will triage inbound onsite event requests.
  • Work with onsite Supplier Partners, eg. Furnishings, Entertainment
  • Track onsite Event requests that are billable and discuss with Management before execution of request
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with strong ability to adapt to changing environments and prioritizing tasks
  • Additional skills, a plus, but not required Facility Management; Fire regulations, safety (training available)
  • Proven experience in effective communications, consumer and client relations, and management
  • Resourceful and can find a way to make things happen
  • Flexible and quick approach to event challenges
  • Hours vary, the most shifts available are for late night hours or early morning shifts.  Other shifts available when we have cancellations 
  • Customer service and problem solving skills
  • Experience working in the events industry or relative field 
  • Project Management skills a plus
  • Excellent communication skills with internal and external partners
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to manage and supervise onsite staff as directed by management
