Client Success Manager

The Client Success Manager plays an integral role at Mad Fish. This position is directly responsible for generating and cultivating new business leads and nurturing them through our sales qualification process. As a genuine, trustworthy, clear communicator, this individual will excel at building relationships with potential clients and collaborating internally to craft digital strategies that meet client goals. The Client Success Manager is dually charged with elongating the client lifecycle by working in tandem with our team of Strategists to retain clients. This individual is action-oriented, proactive, persistent, and committed to sourcing the best potential clients that align long-term with our core values, company purpose, and brand promises. 

About You
  • You have demonstrated experience with relationship building, establishing trust, collaborating effectively with teams, and active listening skills
  • You possess strong presentation and storytelling skills to convey the benefit of our services
  • You have a proven understanding of digital marketing strategies as well as marketing and sales funnels
  • You have a keen attention to detail, from reviewing sales materials, to your CRM usage
  • You possess an intuitive understanding of client needs and opportunities
  • You have impeccable follow through and you look to take action as a result of every interaction
  • You thrive in team-oriented environments and enjoy strategic collaboration
  • You prioritize earning the business of the right client type over closing deals
  • You possess an understanding of web analytics and digital marketing platforms 

What You’ll Do
  • Develop new prospective client relationships through outreach and outbound tactics
  • Operate as the initial point-of-contact for inbound prospective clients and nurture them through the sales qualification process
  • Qualify prospective clients based on need and budget; identify and engage with key decision makers 
  • Responsible for leading the sales process, both internally and externally
  • Identify the potential services a prospective client will need to reach their marketing goals
  • Responsible for delivering strategies, media plans, pricing, and presentations by working collaboratively with internal teams
  • Assist with client retention for existing clients to increase loyalty, advocacy, and ensure we are fulfilling our company purpose
  • Actively seek and respond to new RFP opportunities
  • Develop new sales materials to improve the efficiency of the sales process
  • Represent Mad Fish at networking events, speaking opportunities or conferences
