We are looking for a Talent Recruitment Director to help build us a team that can invest in and grow the next generation of innovative consumer businesses. We seek to affect outcomes for founders, partners, & investors by leveraging our Playbook, which institutionalizes the process of scaling consumer-centric brands.
At M13 we combine our backgrounds in finance, as founders/operators, and as successful investors, to identify and scale consumer brands. We’ve invested in some of the best brands around, including: Daily Harvest, Pinterest, Ring, Birchbox, Bonobos, Honest Company, Thrive Market, Lyft, Slack, Kevita, SnapChat, Rubicon Global, SpaceX, Hyperloop, Ring, Leesa, Classpass, and others. We also work closely with a select group of companies, ranging from young startups to Fortune 500 corporations, to scale existing operations and build new business lines.
- Build talent pipelines for current and future job openings
- Lead all recruitment sourcing strategies
- Forecast hiring needs based on business growth plans and build recruiting budget
- Develop a network of potential future hires (e.g. past applicants and referred candidates)
- Lead onboarding, offboarding, and compliance activities
- 6+ years of experience in senior recruiting position with proven success managing full-cycle recruiting process
- Familiar with Applicant Tracking Systems and HR databases
- Strong organization skills, attention to detail, ability to proactively problem solve and lead teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and positive, can-do attitude
- Interest in branding, consumer goods, and investing
