Safety and Compliance Coordinator

The Safety and Compliance Coordinator reports directly to the Safety and Compliance Manager and is responsible for supporting the operations and safety teams through the development, maintenance, and management of training curriculum, tools, and training resources. This position has a driver-centric focus, as it works with internal teams to support and advance the Company’s driver training program, operational standards, and safety standards. 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
 
Although additional duties and related tasks may be assigned, the essential duties and responsibilities of this position include the following:  
▪ Assist in the development, upkeep, and revision of training materials for drivers, operations, and safety teams 
▪ Support and assist with Lux Academy training, ongoing skills training, and relevant classroom training 
▪ Assist in the upkeep and tracking of driver training folders for certification, completion of trainings, training scores, attendance records for classroom training, and other data to be determined by the Safety and Compliance Manager 
▪ When needed, assist to run safety reports for the purpose of tracking trends relevant to existing and ongoing safety and compliance standards  
▪ Assist when needed to help keep safety and compliance folders and files organized and up to date 
▪ Assist with the coordination of training materials including printing, organizing, delivering, and setting up of these materials for classroom, behind-the-wheel, skills and refresher training, as well as for the driver safety quarterly meetings  
▪ Support the development and continued day-to-day training and/or implementation of technology to include: 
                 o Day-to-day training and use of ELD tablets 
                 o Operational needs for driver assignment preparation 
                 o Mobile-based learning tools 
▪ Assist with the development, design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of key Operations projects and initiatives

Education / Experience 
 
▪ High school diploma or equivalent  
▪ Minimum 2 years’ total experience with CDL (Class A or B) 
▪ Minimum 1-year experience operating vehicle “in-type” (similar to prospective position)
