WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
The Charter Services Supervisor is responsible for maintaining and growing clients and building and sustaining effective business relationships in the Sacramento region, while assisting the VP of Business Development with managing the day-to-day charter operations of the Business Development and Services department. The Charter Services Supervisor will also honor Lux Bus America’s approach to business which starts with our commitment to safety, operational excellence, and customer service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Although additional duties and related tasks may be assigned, the essential duties and responsibilities of this position include the following:
▪ Monitor, input, and follow up on quote requests and sales orders
▪ Quality check advance bookings; complete any missing information
▪ Follow up, collect, and process payments
▪ Enter details and itineraries into dispatch software
▪ Update and maintain rates and pricing spreadsheets
▪ Adhere to the best practices and continual development of a key account management strategy
▪ Schedule, attend and conduct meetings to build relationships with existing and prospective clients
▪ Establish and maintain client relationships with the mindset that our clients’ priority is our priority
▪ Use independent judgment and discretion to make quotes, bookings and resolve client complaints
▪ Conduct business reviews related to client satisfaction
▪ Drive referral-based business using existing client network
▪ Analyze client needs while developing innovative solutions
▪ Support the VP of Business Development and department with various initiatives, including helping manage performance reviews, progress, and targets
▪ Support the VP of Business Development in planning and presiding over weekly team meetings
▪ Help foster and promote a positive and collaborative team environment within the sales team across all locations
▪ Provide support to other companies within All Aboard America! Holdings, Inc (AAAHI), including working with AAAHI team members and traveling to various locations
▪ Liaise with Operations to ensure client needs are fulfilled effectively
▪ Work with management to define, implement, and improve detailed sales strategies and plans for market segment growth
▪ Drive and foster new business development opportunities
▪ Recommend changes in services and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments
▪ Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, services, new services, service schedules, marketing techniques, etc.
▪ Develop and implement incentive content and sales programs
▪ Participate in evening/weekend networking and industry events as scheduled
▪ Be the direct liaison between Sales and Operations for last minute changes to itineraries and timing
