Position:
We are looking for an experienced candidate for a Mask Layout Design Engineer. You will be expected to:
- Draw semiconductor devices and test structures including: statistical process control features, single device characterization structures, arrays of devices and display level designs
- Layout full mask layers at the semiconductor chip and wafer level
- Complete feedback loop between design and process team and implement mask changes
- Conduct mask reviews with the design and process teams

Requirements:
- BS in EE or equivalent
- 5+ years experience as a nanofabrication mask layout designer
- Experience with Layout Editor layout tools or equivalent software
- Experience with lithography alignment mark design and organization
- Ability to draw, organize and maintain GDS files for various programs
- Organize team wide mask layout reviews, collect and implement feedback
- Work with foundry or mask supplier to order new masks including file conversion verification
- Familiarity with Process Simulator software
- Familiarity with PDKs
- Develop library of test structures based on current process flows and design rules
- Develop a Design Rule Check (DRC) methodology
- Establish and maintain design rules for developed process flows. Collect process limitations and tolerances
- Familiarity with Layout automation and scripting
- Implement revision control for layout changes, reviews and approvals
- Develop and draw test structures to monitor critical device features and process tolerances
- Work with the design team to feedback process capabilities into the design
- Analyze process data and device results for developing design rules capabilities

- MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Experience in display industry
- Experience in transistor device and LED device fabrication
