Business Relationship Manager

As a Business Relationship Manager at Logic Supply, you work with the company’s technical and business leaders on identifying, solutioning and implementing best in class technology solutions. 

Your role is multifaceted in the areas of Relationship Owner, Project Management and solution design leadership. You manage a small team focused on solving software application support issues and identifying future potential business requirements for our technology roadmaps (ex. ERP and eCommerce).

This is how you approach your day. You:
  • Be the “face of IT” building and maintaining open, honest relationships with all the divisions of the business and any stakeholders
  • Understand the business strategy and goals and act as a liaison and advocate between business functions and IT
  • Understand the various business roles, purpose and accountability as well as the tools/solutions necessary to perform their work
  • Work with all departments to understand business requirements, details and priorities and support the business stakeholders in gathering a business case (ROI, IRR etc.) for that work
  • Work closely with the Systems Architect and Development Manager to translate business requirements into solutions and develop functional requirement documentation for the software development team
  • Determine dependencies and development sequence for ensuring the work conducted is the most important and value added
  • Create, maintain and prioritize the Product backlog for all core IT systems
  • Understands the inter-dependencies between technology tools and business process, and identify/mitigate potential impacts to the business when changes occur in those technologies
  • Build and maintain the IT strategic roadmap and the 30/60/90 outlook to set expectations regarding the work to be completed
  • Work closely with the Systems Architect & Development Manager to understand the proposed IT solution and approach to meeting the business requirement(s)
  • Coordinate action items and openly communicate decisions
  • Keep a pulse on overall project status and generate project status reports for stakeholders
  • Manage the individual/team responsible for providing critical business application support
  • Serve as a decision maker on the priority of impactful support issues

Who we are looking for:
A self motivated driver who possesses ERP domain knowledge, manufacturing processes with in depth Project Management and People Management experience.  

This is you! 
  • You have a Bachelor's degree in business, computer engineering or other technical field or equivalent experience
  • You have previously worked with ERP systems and have a solid understanding of the supported business processes
  • You have 5 years of experience in software solution design and/or managing major technology software implementations
  • You have built reference materials, how-to's, and demoed applications for customers
  • You have Project Management experience with proven success in managing complex software projects 
  • You have solid communication skills and the ability to work with executive leaders in problem solving and delivering best in class solutions
  • You have a strong commitment to meeting department and company goals with quality and excellence in mind
  • You are a problem solver who can find creative and effective solutions to problems
  • You are a team player who loves juggling multiple tasks at a time, and meeting deadlines to drive positive results for the company
  • You are highly organized with a strong sense of detail 
  • You love technology and understand computer systems, components, and operating systems
  • You have provided escalated level of support for critical business operational issues
  • You have excellent presentation and white-boarding skills
  • You have people and team management experience
  • You have experience with using project/work tracking tools such as Jira or Slack
