User Interface Designer (UI)

As a User Interface Designer (UI) you are responsible for ensuring a delightful online experience for our customers, on www.logicsupply.com. This will involve understanding our customers, developing intuitive experiences with stunning interfaces, designing low and high fidelity designs and then turning your ideas into reality by developing marketing landing pages, such as this, in HTML, CSS and JavaScript. You will also be responsible for the coordination and prioritization of Marketing-specific development needs, that are handled by our in-house IT Team.

You are a highly motivated team player with excellent interpersonal and project management skills to see a project through from an initial concept to intuitive experience on our site. You will work with members of the Marketing and IT teams to add feature enhancements that provide value to our customers, and support bug fixes that impact the perception of our brand.

This is what your day looks like. You:
  • Develop low and high fidelity designs for the website to support our online lead generation and eCommerce goals.
  • Design and code marketing landing pages to current best practices.
  • Craft the online user experience for campaigns from ads to landing pages.
  • Work with members of the Creative Team to effect design excellence across all mediums.
  • Identify areas for improvement on our site and then design and implement solutions.
  • Work with the Marketing Team to identify website enhancements, resolve IT bugs and support questions about our eCommerce and ERP platform.
  • Manage the department's IT needs and help schedule testing.

Who we are looking for:
You are broadly skilled designer with a focus on User Interface design and are able to contribute across a variety of mediums. You keep up with current design and web trends, and have an infectious enthusiasm for positive change through design. You are someone who can easily work with a content writer to craft an engaging narrative and then switch to designing a delightful micro-interaction. You will work with a closely knit group of Marketers and Designers with skill sets that include database marketing, marketing analytics, industrial design, PR and social media, brand strategy, content and blogging, inbound marketing, digital advertising, event marketing, catalog and direct mail, and integrated campaign development.

This is you!
  • You have a Bachelor's Degree in Design or a related field.
  • You have 4-6 years of design experience with a focus on User Interface Design, for an E-Commerce platform.
  • You are a motivated self-starter that enjoys working collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • You have knowledge of e-commerce and CMS platforms, such as Magento.
  • You can competently code in HTML and CSS from scratch, and have used responsive frameworks and CMS platforms.
  • You have proven abilities in Adobe Creative Suite, in particular XD, Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • You have a basic understanding and interest in user experience design.
  • You have A/B testing experience.
  • You have the ability to manage time shifting priorities and to communicate project milestones or changes to cross-functional teams effectively.
