About the Role
Loftium is a rocketship of a company, moving into scale mode and growing extremely fast. We spend nearly all our time on the destination: serving more customers and serving them better. This role, in contrast, is focused on the ship, and the people on that ship. We’re looking for a passionate, energetic and driven person who cares for nothing more than empowering and supporting the people around her/him.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with founders and departments heads to develop & refine recruiting & team happiness strategies to achieve level
- Work with Finance Director to manage payroll and bonus compensation for all FTEs / PTEs and contractors
- Develop & execute a world-class employee onboarding strategy to ensure new team members have an unparalleled introduction to Loftium’s team & culture
- Develop & execute strategy for ongoing management & leadership training
- Create performance review & compensation review structure
- Work with Corporate Counsel to ensure Loftium is fully compliant with all relevant legal & regulatory policies
- Prepare materials / conduct research for board meetings
- Working closely with the founding team to handle once-off projects / crises

- You ideally have experience:
- Building out a People/HR function in a growing company from the ground up
- Growing and managing a high-functioning HR team
- Managing a high-volume recruiting pipeline
- Navigating a company through complex employment law
- Handling sensitive employee crises
